"didnt know you would allow me to open the ags in terms of coding
some people dont want ya too like qfi team for example, as it would contain some eggs or such,"

As Chamber said, we're an open source project. If someone wants to spoil any surprise content in the game by peeking at the code, it's their loss. Personally, I'd be more interested in thinking of what kind of surprise content I'd like to hide in the game

Hero6 Sourceforge > Git > Public AGS files

You'll need to have knowledge of how to use git to make a fork, if you're unfamiliar with git you can press the "Download Snapshot" in the top right corner to download the files.

Yes there are two, for reasons of safety, and practicality.

The "Core AGS files" is the build of which only Robert has write access, it's the one which we make new compiled editions of the game and put on Sourceforge files tab.

The "Public AGS files" is the build where everyone can donate, however exactly because everyone can donate it means that someone can also break the game by doing a rogue push.

So that's why we have a two step layer for git files. People donate whatever contributions they want with the "Public AGS files", and if it looks good and everything is working Robert will merge it into the "Core AGS files". When there has been enough contributions to make noticeable difference to the end-user, the files get compiled and put up on the "Files" section for those without AGS to test.
